Terms of use.
Effective 31 July 2026 · Last updated 31 July 2026. By creating an account or using Marj, you agree to these terms. Questions: support@marj.app.
1. What Marj is
Marj is an educational service for ages 15–22 — lessons that teach skills and mechanisms, each ending in something you actually make. Nothing on Marj is investment, legal, tax or medical advice; the money lessons explain how things work and never tell you what to buy. See Standards & review.
2. Who can use Marj
- You must be at least 15 to create an account.
- If you’re under 18, you may use Marj only with a parent or guardian’s permission, and only if that’s allowed where you live.
- You confirm the information you give us is accurate and yours to provide.
3. Your account
- Create an account with an email and password, or with “Continue with Google.”
- Keep your login details confidential — you’re responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account is for one person; tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Free tier & subscriptions
- A free tier gives permanent access to the first lessons of every pillar.
- A subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly — one price worldwide) unlocks the rest and renews automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel any time in two clicks; access continues to the end of the current billing period.
- A lesson published free is never later moved behind the paywall.
5. Payment & refunds
- Payments are processed by Paddle, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply at checkout, and your receipt comes from Paddle.
- Prices are shown in your local currency where possible, based on an authoritative USD price.
- Refund windows and how to request one are set out on our Refunds page.
6. Acceptable use
- Use Marj for your own learning. Don’t redistribute, resell or publicly repost the content.
- Don’t share your account, bypass or attempt to bypass the paywall, or scrape the service at scale.
- Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or break the service, or use it for anything unlawful.
7. Content & intellectual property
- The lessons, interactive tools, design and brand are owned by Marj. While your account is active we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use them for your own learning.
- Anything you type into the tools stays yours — it runs in your browser and isn’t stored on our servers.
8. Disclaimers
Marj is provided “as is” and “as available,” for education. We work hard to keep it accurate and online, but we don’t warrant that it’s error-free, uninterrupted, or that acting on any lesson will produce a particular result.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Marj isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before it arose. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived under the law where you live.
10. Termination
You can delete your account any time from settings; access ends when your paid period does. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) continue after your account ends.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post material changes here, update the date above, and — for subscribers — email you before they take effect. Continuing to use Marj after that means you accept the change.
12. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, where Marj’s company is registered, and disputes fall to the courts there — without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your own country. Reach us at support@marj.app. See also our Privacy policy.
